What are Player Development Sessions?
Here is what a player will learn at our player development sessions...
1) What skills he or she has in their skill set.
2) What skills here or she needs to have in order to compete at a given level.
3) How to better understand and develop these skills.
Players who participate in player developmental sessions receive instruction based on the extensive experience of the coaching staff. All skills are based on the true fundamentals of the game - shooting, ball handling, passing, screening, and defending. These skills are taught in intensive, game-like situations where players become accustomed to applying maximum effort and concentration.
This instruction is dedicated to improving the skill level of each individual player. These workouts are customized to the particular skill set and talent level based on each players ability. We specialize in offensive moves, particularly shooting, ball handling, and being a scorer. The goal of the program is to have players placed in small group peer settings of 2-4 players as well as play on the competitive club teams.
After evaluating (this usually takes a session or 2) the player, we will sit down and discuss areas of weakness and strength. We will then outline specific goals of the player within a given time frame. After goals are set we then customize a workout schedule for the player and explain in detail how these goals can be achieved.
At Next Level, we pride ourselves in the ability to teach these players how to workout on their own or in a small group.
I am constantly refining these skill sessions by attending player development workouts with the best high school, college, and NBA coaches in the business. It's fun to be able to share this knowledge and my enthusiasm for the game.
These sessions are organized and executed by myself, Marty Clark (Colorado native) and my staff.
These are filling up fast and will be scheduled on a first come first served basis. If you want to be included, contact me (Marty Clark) by phone or email.
